Internships

Production Intern
July 2016 - February 2017
new york, ny
I interned at Above Average, during a company wide transitional period, where they re-branded themselves from an exclusively original comedic content creation company to a branded marketing content company.

The content we were producing ranged from original comedic sports content to comedic marketing and advertising campaigns. It was a great experience because my job description changed substantially throughout my time at Above Average which allowed me to experience all areas of production, learn how to adapt quickly and pick up marketing skill-sets that I previously did not have.

Responsibilities Included:

- Assisted in the production of weekly webisodes for sports series: “The Extra Point” by setting up studio equipment and aiding the writers with joke revisions and finding stories

-Transcribed, filmed and logged “The Kicker Podcast” episodes, gave input for joke revisions and choosing content for promo

- Locked down Set and tended to the clients’ needs for commercial spots with the Branded Content and Production team

- Aided Producers in pre-production with equipment rental, location scouting and budgeting

- Researched new marketing trends and potential clients and presented findings to executives.

Production Intern
July 2016 - February 2017

- Researched segment topics, transcribed news clips, created research outlines, pulled quotes and distributed scripts for the Emmy Award Winning Season 3

- Performed administrative tasks including expense reports, reception duties and production runs across New York City
- Trained incoming Season 4 Interns in January 2017. Created a New Employee Handbook by compiling protocol and personal experiences to set expectations and provide incoming interns a smooth transition
